ExecuteSQL element

Specifies the SQL code to execute and can be mixed with the operation element. The value of this element is actually an SQL script. ExecuteSQL is an unbounded element.

The supported attributes for the ExecuteSQL element are listed in the table below:

Attribute Comment
side Required. Specifies the database where the script will be executed. Can have the following values: “left”, “source”, “right”, “target”, and “both”. Values “left” and “source” have the same meaning. Values “right” and “target” have the same meaning too. Use the value “both” to execute the script on both databases.
path Optional. The path to a file with SQL script. The value of the “path” attribute will be ignored if the element value is not empty.
