Welcome to Episode 5 of my Power BI Best Practices Series. In today’s episode, I will show you how to prepare report requirements documentation.
Here we go!
Power BI — Prepare Report Requirements
When building out your Power BI Dashboards, how do you make sure your visualizations address all the points your client wants? This is where a Reports Requirement Document comes into play. By creating a Reports Requirement Document, you will have a record of what’s expected, and can use it as a general outline for building your dashboard. This document can also clarify any potential misunderstandings in the future regarding the scope of your Power BI dashboard.
