    DB Best has released a Beta version of the new product: DB Best Database Compare Suite. Being a “diff” for databases, the new product allows to compare and synchronize homogeneous and heterogeneous data sources. The released version provides schema and data comparison for Oracle/Oracle, SQL Server/SQL Server, and Oracle/SQL Server databases. Scripts bringing schema and data in synch can be executed from inside the Database Compare Suite, or can be saved for later run. Comparison can be executed from both UI and command line.     Dmitry Balin from DB Best delivered two-days migration seminar in Stockholm, Sweden organized by Microsoft Sweden. A former Director in SQL Server product group at Microsoft, Dmitry described “why to migrate” and “how to migrate” to SQL Server 2008, shared best practices and lessons learned, demonstrated usage of SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA) – the tool originally developed by DB Best and acquired by Microsoft in 2005. After answering multiple questions from the audience, Dmitry had a number of meetings with a local customers and partners to provide migration support and guidance.
